Horse Ranch Park

Large. No water. Dried grass and sage brush. Trash can.

Brush Creek Rd & Horse Ranch Rd. Next to a ski area/rodeo grounds parking lot.

Directions: From Hwy 82 turn South on Brush Creek Road, go approximately 2 miles. Turn right on Horse Ranch. Park is on the left.

Aurora

Cherry Creek State Park	60 acres. Open fields. Trees. Streams. Stretches for almost a mile. Trails. Prairie meadow. $6 fee through park entrance. Self Service fee station at the park.

Broomfield

Broomfield Dog Park	Temporary location. Double-gated entry. Brushes for cleaning boots as park can get a bit muddy. Hours: Daily. Dawn to Dusk.
North Pod of Broomfield County Commons Park at Sheridan and 13th. Two entrances: One at 13th and Sheridan and one at 132nd and Lowell.

Red Rock Canyon Open Space.	Off-leash dogs allowed on 2 different loops. The trails total 5/8 mile in length. Dogs on-leash allowed on 10 miles of trains. Hours: Dawn to Dusk.
Located within Red Rock Canyon Open Space. 31st St. at Highway 24. E slope of the Rockies. Dog loops are located south of the main park entrance. Up the hill from the parking lot.

Durango

Durango Dog Park	5 acres. Scrub. Hills. River access. A bit of a walk from parking to the park. Hours: Dawn to Dusk
At the base of Smelter Mountain. On Hway 160 on the S side of Animas River on the SW corner of Highways 550 & 160.

Directions: Head E (down the hill) on Hway 160. The entrance to the park-just before the Hway 550 intersection-past the road sign for Silverton and Pagosa Springs. At the highway 550/160 intersection-the park is to the SW toward the river & the mountain. Parking: 2 parking locations. 1^st driveway west of the dog park or at Schneider Park on Roosa Avenue.

Edwards

Edwards Dog Park	Not fenced. Hours: Dawn to Dusk
Edwards Village Blvd. across from soccer field.

Directions: I-70 W to the Edwards. Exit 163. Turn L at the light-Edwards Spur Rd-at the bottom of the ramp. Go through 3 lights and turn R onto Edwards Village Blvd. If you see the brewery and the Smiling Moose Deli you?re on the right track. After a few more blocks the park is on your left.

Estes Valley Dog Park	No drinking water. Open Fall 2002. Divided into two sections. Very windy. Awesome views. Hours: Dawn to Dusk
Highway 36 and Community Dr. Off US 36. East of the Stanley Park Fairgrounds.

Directions: If coming in from Boulder on US 36, turn left onto Community Drive just before the fairgrounds. Estes Lake is on your right and a smaller lake on your left. Turn left immediately into the parking lot.

Evergreen

Elk Meadow Open Space Dog Park	In the mountains. No water. Steep. Rocky. Heavily wooded. Creek. Long, narrow park with good fencing. 4 separate entrances. Only one is open at all times. If one gate is closed keep checking until you find an open one. Hours: Dawn to Dusk

Directions: I70 West to exit #152/Evergreen Parkway. Follow Lewis Ridge Rd/Evergreen Parkway for about 3 miles to Stagecoach and turn R/West. Continue for 1.25 miles the park will be on your left-just past the Elk Meadows sign. Parking is on the right.

Firestone

Aisik's Meadow Dog Park	Double gated entry. Shade. Small. New in 2005 Hours: Dawn to Dusk
E side Foxfire St. between Shenandoah and St. Vrain Blvd.

Directions: From I-25 N, take Exit 240 E (Hwy 119, Longmont and Firestone Blvd/WCR 24). Go 3 miles. Turn R onto Frontier Street (CR 15). Turn R on St. Vrain Blvd. then the 1st L on Foxfire. Drive .2 miles and park is on the L. From I-25 S, take exit 235 (CO 52) east. Go 1.8 miles. Turn L on CR 13 (just before stop light). Go 4 miles and turn R on Sable (CR 22). Turn L on Frontier St. (CR 15). Turn L on Shenandoah and 1st right on Foxfire. Dog Park is about .2 miles on right.

Fort Collins

Fossil Creek Dog Park	About 1 acre. No entrance fee. Hours: Dawn to Dusk
5821 South Lemay Avenue in Fossil Creek Community Park. Near Boardwalk Drive about ? mile south of Harmony Rd.

Directions: From I-25, take Harmony Rd. exit and proceed W to Lemay Ave. Turn L (south) on Lemay and proceed South to the park- about 1 mile. Turn R into the park. The dog park is on your immediate right.

Soft Gold Dog Park

Will be improved in 2007 with a shelter and drinking water. No entrance fee. No water.
Hours: Dawn to Dusk

520 Hickory Street at the back end of Soft Gold Neighborhood Park. On North College Avenue- a ? block north of Conifer Street (Jaxs).

Follow Horsetooth until it ends at the Southwest/Spring Canyon Community Park.

Glenwood Springs

Access from the South Grand trail. Next to the river. Field is located between the river and the bike path, behind the high school. Park at Safeway on Grand Ave, cross the railroad tracks and walk N along the bike path.

Directions: Take exit 265 off I-70 toward CO-58/Golden/Central City. Turn R onto ramp toward McIntyre St and turn R onto CR-15 (McIntyre). Turn L (West) onto W. 44th Ave (CR-58). Less than a mile later turn R (North) on Salvia Street. From downtown: Go about 2 miles past the Coors North entrance, heading E along 44th past the Railroad Museum. The park is on Salvia Street on your left. 300 yards N of the main parking lot.
